It’s official, dad is outnumbered four to one. With the arrival of their third baby girl, Blair, this lovely family finds themselves complete. I was there to capture their second, Kaley, when she was a mere 24 hours old and it was my pleasure to see how much she and big sister Morgan have grown. It strikes me that all three girls are going to be very different from one another, although I suspect they’ll be equally mischievous!
Blair arrived with a hiss and a roar in a one and a half hour labour! Her dad, Dan, arriving with a mere 3 minutes to spare. Needless to say that kind of speedy arrival throws a few things up in the air! But Jen and Dan, who have been used to early arrivals each time, are taking it all in their stride. Jen and I talked about how you manage the extra “stuff” that comes with each additional child. The logistics of car seats aside, we came to the conclusion that I think most parents do - you just manage. Because as the old saying goes, “if you think my hands are full, you should see my heart”.
Jen and Dan, thank you so much for inviting me back again to meet your newest addition. It was such a delight to hang out with the girls and watch the way they dote on each other. Enjoy these days with Blair, hopefully they’re a little less action packed than the first ones!
