It is such a pleasure catching up with my favourite families and this crowd are definitely on that list. This is the third time that I've captured an important milestone for them, with this occasion marking George turning ONE!
This morning at St Heliers brought what was truly four seasons in less than an hour. We had blinding morning sun, gusty winds and passing showers. But wee George was undeterred. Once again he turned on the cheeky smiles and this time he also had a new trick; showing me his first (slightly wobbly) steps. There was a look of concentration followed by an ear to ear grin that told me he was pretty chuffed with himself.
It's such an honour to be able to capture moments like this. Because it's true what they say; that even though the days seem long the years fly by too quickly and suddenly those unsteady weaving steps are forgotten.
Claire and Nick, thank you again for allowing me to preserve these memories for you. It really is always such a pleasure and I hope you love this record of our morning together.
