This fun family session was one of those where timing is everything. We were meant to meet a few weeks earlier but had to postpone. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome because on the day I finally got to meet little Chloe she decided crawling was on the to do list. There’s something uniquely wonderful about those first ungraceful scrabbling crawls. For me it’s not so much the act itself as seeing the joy and surprise on the face of parents who weren’t expecting quite so much action!
Chloe was around the six-month mark; she was rolling, playing and chewing everything in sight. Including any finger that came within reaching distance! I love this age. There’s personality and interaction and a sense of wonder on the part of both parents and child.
Once I found out more about Natalie and Dave it was no surprise to me that Chloe was determined to get on the move. These are intrepid people. People who love to travel to exotic, far flung destinations. Clearly it’s the in genes. This little girl of theirs is not going to be content to sit still either. I was reminded of one of my favourite Dr Seuss books - Oh The Places You'll Go!
Natalie and Dave, thank you so much for inviting me into your brand new home. Clearly you guys are the types to take on adventure wherever it comes calling and I’d say that with that gorgeous dimply girl alongside you your biggest adventure is just beginning!
