What is it about twins that is just so darn special? It’s like you have them and instantly you’re granted access to this exclusive club. A club made up of people who truly know the meaning of the words “tired” and “juggle” and who have entire drawers full of teeny Premmie sized onesies (because let’s be honest it’s rare that any newborn actually fits a newborn sized garment, let alone a twin). And especially not twins who made their entrance nearly two months early!
That was the case for precious tiny tots Juliet and Holly. When I met these wee girls they were nearly 7 weeks old. Having only recently come home from NICU they were just tipping the scales at an average newborn birth weight. They are truly delightful, petite little ladies.
Parents Claire and Sam were taking everything in their stride, well and truly in the swing of double feed times and tag team sleeping. Despite the usual flurry of “new-baby-ness” there was an air of calm about the house. I’m sure Juliet and Holly will have something to say about that soon enough…
Claire and Sam thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to spend the morning with you and your gorgeous girls. They are such sweet wee things and I hope you love this record of their early days at home. PS> Bonus parenting points if you can tell which ones which here...
