Get in touch and we’ll sort out which package is best for you. Some easy paperwork and a deposit secure your session date.

You’ll get full guidance on wardrobe and how to prepare. Opt for additional pro hair and makeup, or follow my tips for doing it yourself.

STEP 02/ STRESS FREE PREP & SHOOT

By shoot day you’ll know exactly what to expect and what to bring to my home studio.

I’ll guide you through a relaxed shoot designed to beat camera anxiety, guiding your posing and expression the whole way.

STEP 03/ IT’S TIME TO SHINE!

Within 2 weeks your proofing gallery is ready! Download your favourite selection (upgrades available if you just can’t choose!).

  • Theatrical headshots are typically used when trying to book dramatic roles in film, TV, and theatre. They often feature neutral or brooding expressions, darker tones, and sometimes dramatic lighting.

    Commercial headshots tend to be brighter, lighter and more friendly. Think bigger smiles and bright eyes. These are the casting shots you’ll need when going for ads, and more light-hearted roles like sitcoms. They show that you can be instantly likeable.

  • Please view my Actor’s Headshots portfolio. Everything you see here is an indication of what you can expect from my shooting and editing style.

  • My home studio is in Three Kings, Auckland.

  • I recommend 5-7 outfits for a 90 minute session. But if you’re unsure bring extra options and we can go through them together.

    You’ll receive a comprehensive Prep Guide complete with wardrobe suggestions when you book.

  • You’ll have access to my trusted hair and makeup artist if you choose that optional add on. But you’re welcome to do it yourself. Do what makes you feel most comfortable.

    One of the biggest pet peeves for casting directors is when the headshot doesn’t look like the person in the room, so whether you use a professional or not keep hair and makeup as natural as possible.

  • You’ll get a detailed prep guide in advance of your shoot. It covers everything!

  • Your actor’s headshot needs to be an accurate representation of you (casting director’s hate it when the photo doesn’t match the person in the room).

    To that end, your images will be professionally polished in my signature natural style. Think of it as the very best version of you!

    Temporary blemishes will be removed, but permanent features will be left in.
